Our Ladies At Service to Others

May 12 2019 - Mother's Day Weekend and the Marillac Place Baby Bottle Fundraising Campaign kick-off!  We welcomed Kelly and Nikia from Marillac Place.  In addition to the baby bottles, parishioners donated items for the Welcome Home Caring Baskets. The campaign runs until Father's Day.


April 27 2019 - 

Thank you to our ladies (and gentleman) of St Michael's who participated at our monthly Saturday Supper program held at Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church. Together with other volunteers, we provided dinner to over 200 people every night, from our community + enjoyed many conversations. We are hoping to rejoin this group November 2019.
 

March 5 2019 - Shrove Tuesday - O ur CWL ladies had a fun evening with residents of @SHOWaterloo  . Pancakes, sausage, fruit and plenty of sweets were served for a very appreciative group. Thank you ladies and thank you to the residents for the chuckles! (photo with permission)

- October - December 2018 - Project Warmth and Comfort - over 700 pairs of socks collected with distribution to agencies such as St. Louis Out of the Cold/Community Supper Program, Marillac Place and Supportive Housing of Waterloo Region (SHOW).
