RCIA is a program for "becoming Catholic". It is a 9-month program – beginning in September and culminating at the Easter Vigil – designed to teach interested candidates what Catholics believe, how Catholics practice their faith, and what it means to be Catholic.
Candidates meet weekly for lectures and journey alongside other candidates, mature Catholics who act as mentors, and the program teachers.
RCIA culminates in the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist) and the Easter Vigil.
