Mission Statement
The Catholic Women’s League of Canada calls its members to grow in faith,
and to witness to the love of God through ministry and service.~~~ Community ~ Social Justice ~ Catholic Education ~ Faith ~~~
Personal and spiritual growth, friendship and fun can all be found within the Catholic Women`s League (CWL). As the largest
organization of Catholic women in Canada, the CWL provides leadership development through their commitment to the Christian family and the community.
There are over 10,000 members within the 104 parish leagues in Hamilton Diocesan council. There are over 1,300 parish councils all over Canada. Currently we have over 103 members at St. Michael`s.
We love to have new members. We know you have unique and valuable gifts that are meant to be discovered, developed and shared with us so come join us! We invite all Catholic women, 16 years of age and older, to journey with us in a sisterhood of faith, fulfillment and companionship. Meetings and events are held regularly throughout the year. St. Michael’s Catholic Women’s League Membership:
You are invited to join, or renew your St. Michael's CWL membership, knowing that you are supporting an organization of ladies actively working 'For God and Canada'. If you are questioning your availability to fully participate, don't let that influence your decision. You determine how involved you'd like to be. If you're a student you can still join and enjoy a transferable membership should you move outside of our Parish community.
The current membership fee is $40 (as of 2023).
To join: Kindly deposit your membership fee in an envelope clearly marked `CWL Membership`. Place your envelope in the collection basket at Mass or submit in-person to the parish office. Please make cheque payable to "St. Michael’s C.W.L.".
