Catholic Women's LeagueCWL Calendar of Activities Jan – Jun 2025
February
Tuesday February 11th starting at 12:00 noon. Soup lunch and movie – “The Miracle Club”.
We will begin with a brief business meeting prior to the movie.
March
Mondays During Lent - Rosary On-Line at 7pm CWL members and parishioners are invited to join together in praying the Rosary on Monday evenings during Lent. We will reflect on the Sorrowful Mysteries.
Monday dates = March 17th, 24th, 31th & April 14th. (we’ll miss a few weeks due to schedule conflicts)
The Rosary will be prayed on-line over Zoom at 7pm.

All are welcome to participate – CWL members, parishioners and friends.
Wednesday March 19th at 7pm Gathering An evening of women’s fellowship rooted in faith and knowledge of the core values of the CWL.
Saturday March 29th – half day Lenten Spiritual Reflections The morning will begin with Mass in the parish at 9:30am. We will then gather in the parish hall for reflections on living your faith from our CWL National President, Shari Guinta and the Sisters of our Lady Immaculate.
April
Friday April 11th – Mary’s Way of the Cross.
The CWL will lead the Stations of the Cross this Friday during Lent.
There will be NO evening meeting / gathering in April.
May
Tuesday May 13th – meeting / gathering of members following the 7pm Mass.
Our meeting will include the Crowning of Mary
Rosary - Tuesday Evenings at 6:30PM
May is the month dedicated to Mary, our Spiritual Mother. As such, CWL members will lead the Rosary at 6:30PM on Tuesdays during May.
Hamilton Diocesan Convention – dates and location to follow
June
Monday June 9th at 6pm – Pot Luck and Service Pin Celebration
Our annual Pot Luck and Service Pin Celebration will take place, beginning at 6pm in the parish hall. All women are welcome to join us for an evening of food, fellowship and recognition of members for their years of service to the League.

Baby Shower Themed evening including a speaker from Marillac Place and some baby shower games.
October:
There will be no meeting / gathering on our usual Tuesday evening. Please plan to take part in any of the following activities:
Wednesday October 2nd at 7pm: How to Pray the Rosary
Father Jamroz will lead an evening of information on Praying the Rosary. All are welcome to attend. This suitable for both the experienced and those new to the Rosary.Thursday afternoons at 1pm: Oct 3, 10, 17 and 24th
CCCB webinar series A Great Symphony of Prayer: Mary, the Saints and Scripture will be shown in the parish library each week.
This is a meaningful way for the faithful to participate in the “Year of Prayer” 2024 in advance of the Jubilee year, 2025.Thursday, October 3: Praying with Mary/The Rosary

During this evening, we will take some time to remember our departed league sisters and will listen to a presentation on Purgatory. Bake sale planning will also take place.
